i dont know when i started running, or why i didnt stop
it could be anything i ran from, maybe even just the clock
all i know is that i ran

i dont know when it started, this fear of giving up,
i dont know why i feel like nothing is enough,
i just know its true,

i cant tell you why i love you or why i always will,
i cant really tell you how i know that i just kind of do,
all i know is it was you,

it was you who caught me when i began to fall,
it was you who brough me back when i tried to run away,
it was you who taught me how to love with my entire heart,
it was you who showed me how to smile, how to laugh,
and it was you i fell in love with,
it will always,
always,
be you.
